Privacy
PubCalc is operated by Vincent Palmer trading as PubCalc, 7 Morlais, Pensarn, Conwy LL22 7SE. For data-protection questions, email hello@pubcalc.co.uk.
Calculator information
The calculators run in your browser. PubCalc does not receive or save the supplier prices, recipes, selling prices or other figures you enter. The figures remain on your device while the page is open, so avoid entering confidential information on a shared device.
Emails and enquiries
If you email PubCalc, the information you provide—such as your name, email address and message—is used to respond, keep an appropriate record of the conversation and take any requested pre-contract steps. The lawful basis is PubCalc’s legitimate interest in answering enquiries and operating the service, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Website and security information
Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. It may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, request time and security events to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose faults. PubCalc’s lawful basis for this processing is its legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure service.
Service providers and international processing
Limited personal information may be handled by providers used to host, secure and deliver the website and email. Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, appropriate safeguards must apply to those transfers. PubCalc does not sell personal information or use it to build advertising profiles.
Retention
Calculator inputs are not retained by PubCalc. Enquiry correspondence is kept only while it is useful for handling the enquiry, maintaining necessary business records or resolving a dispute. Technical records are retained according to the relevant hosting and security settings and are deleted or aggregated when no longer needed.
Cookies and local storage
PubCalc does not currently set analytics, advertising or preference cookies, and it does not save calculator inputs in local storage. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technology to deliver and protect the site. There is therefore no non-essential cookie consent banner at present. This will be reviewed before analytics, accounts, payments or embedded third-party services are introduced.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise a right, email hello@pubcalc.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
