Draught yield calculator

Price the pints you can sell—not the litres you bought.

Turn keg cost and measured yield into cost per saleable pint, keg cash GP and a target till price.

Use the waste figure your venue already tracks—pints or percentage. Measure several full kegs before treating it as a benchmark.

Why keg price divided by 88 pints is misleading

A 50-litre keg contains roughly 88 imperial pints in theory. A venue does not normally sell every millilitre: line cleaning, fobbing, ullage, staff drinks, sampling and unrecorded waste reduce the realised yield.

Do not turn a guess into a benchmark. Measure several full kegs from connection to empty and reconcile sales, line cleaning and authorised waste before setting a venue assumption.
