What the spirit result includes

The number of nominal measures in a bottle is not always the number sold. This calculator reduces the usable bottle volume by your waste assumption before finding the cost per measure, then adds the mixer only when selected.

UK measure rules

Gin, rum, vodka and whisky sold by the glass must use 25 ml or 35 ml measures—or multiples of the chosen measure. Premises should use one basis and display it clearly. The 50 ml and 70 ml choices here represent multiples, not alternative base measures.

Mixer included or separate? Match the calculation to the till price. Choose “Spirit + mixer” when they are sold for one price. Choose “Spirit only” when the mixer is charged separately or is not part of the serve.
